"Minneapolis-based Bag-E-Wash has introduced a product for the dishwasher for cleaning and recycling gallon- or quart-size plastic storage bags. The series of plastic, looped bands form a base over which to slide the bags. President Jeannie Piekos said the company tested the product on freezer bags, which held up to more than 50 washings and dryings. "Some of those bags are still in our personal household circulation," she said, "but we quit counting after 50."
